To support our goals as an industry leader, we are seeking a Senior Specialist to join our dynamic Internal Audit team in our Gurgaon, India office. Perform audits of MCM's business units to evaluate the adequacy of
internal controls in both design and operation. The Staff Auditor is also responsible for assisting in ad-hoc special projects and performing Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance activities.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Assist in preparing audit program and testing strategy for the assigned audit areas.
- Perform audit test procedures, gather, analayse, process data
- Keeping managers informed of the progress of fieldwork, escalating issues timely and proactively
- Identifying the root cause of the observation and suggesting recommendation for remediation
- Agreeing/ confirming observations with the process owner to make sure there are no surprises later.
- Preparing draft report.
- Performing follow up testing procedures after review.
- Assisting in documenting the process by understanding the existing process and documenting it may be asked to perform the above work at other International locations/willing to travel.
- Management of Direct Reports (Reporting to the role)
Required skills, education, and experience:
- MBA Finance / CA.
- MBA Finance 2.5-3yrs/CA-1yr-1.5 yrs / IT/ITES, Compliance experience preferred.
- Internal audits, Process reviews.
- Proficiency in using Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of internal auditing standards and techniques as well as general accounting methods, principles and practices.
- Time management and the the ability to focus on details.
- Proactive and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
