Mumbai: Where there is a will there is definitely a way!
Sachin Dubey from Dombivili, Kalyan district emerged victorious in
clearing the Chartered Accountancy exam held in May 2015 in his very first attempt! Sachin, whose
father is an auto-driver, was felicitated on his achievement by
the Kalyan regional transport office motivating him to study further.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announced the
results of this year's final exam
last Thursday, 16 July, 2015. With over a 40,000 students appearing for
the exam and a pass percentage that was recorded at 8%, CA happens to
be one of the toughest exams to crack. But Sachin Dubey who despite his
difficulties and hardy situations stood successful in clearing the CA
finals in his first attempt, is an inspiration for many aspiring to join
this profession. Supporting his dedication is Sachin’s father,
Narendra Dubey who stood by his children and encouraged them to realize
their dreams. Unlike many hailing from a low economic status who expect
their children to contribute towards the family's earnings, Dubey who
has been an auto-driver since 1984, insisted that his children secure a
better future for themselves. Sachin’s elder brother who recently
completed his studies contributes to the family’s expenses with his
accountancy jobs.
"I
have realized and understood that studies is the most important aspect
in one's life and education will always help one move ahead in life. My
children can dream and achieve success if they are well educated and
have the freedom to choose a profession of their choice," said Narendra
Dubey.
Sachin, at an age of 25 has already managed to complete his masters in commerce (M.Com) and
company secretary course (CS)
apart from cracking the CA finals. He has been a student of Model
College and Pendharkar College, Kalyan and now wishes to add another
feather to his cap by securing an MBA degree from Singapore. But to make
that dream come true he wants to find a job to fuel and fund his
ambition for higher education
