Job Description

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting in the task related to Statutory and Internal Audits
• Support in preparation of financial statements of Indian entity as per Indian GAAP
• Support in review of financials, statutory compliances and BPC of other group entities across MESA.
• Assist Manager Accounts in preparation and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and preparing quarterly BPC statutory packs.
• Assist in monitoring intercompany accounts to ensure the transactions are valid, reconciled and settled as appropriate with guidance from group Treasury.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of fixed asset register, prompt recording of movement, sale and discard of asset in asset register, periodical physical verification and reconciliation. Ensure posting of depreciation journal as per statutory requirements.
• Ensure accurate submission of CMA data, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual reporting to bank
• Support in migration from existing ERP to new ERP
• Any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Candidate Specification

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 0-2 years of experience.
• Ideal candidates who have done their CA articleship in BIG 4's would be highly preferred.
• Strong analytical ability with effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Conversant in the use of Microsoft products and experience in other ERP systems
• Proven ability to produce accurate management reports to tight deadlines
• Strong analytical ability with effective communication and Flexible to work with changing environment
