‘Postpone Examinations Till November’, demand ICAI Students on twitter

With less than two months to go, anxiety is looming large among lakhs of candidates appearing for CA July 2020 exams due to the corona-virus pandemic and the subsequent lockdown, which they say has derailed their preparations. 

While many state education board postponing the exams, CA students demanded that the ICAI July
2020 exams should also be postponed till November 2020, which is scheduled to begin on July 19,2020.Taking up the issue on Twitter on Sunday, many students raises their concern for upcoming exams.



“Postpone CA Exams Till November” is currently running as one of the top trends on Twitter with students seeking The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) to postpone the upcoming exams. The viral hashtag, #postpone_CA_exam_till_nov witness students across the nation, worried about contracting COVID-19, if they are made to attend the examination.

“There has been a huge pressure on students mind”, tweeted Shreya(@Shreya2020), a CA aspirant.

The viral hashtag, #postpone_CA_exam_till_nov,which is trending on top on twitter, it seems the CA students want at the moment to postpone the upcoming exams till November, 2020.

However, the ICAI is yet to take a call on the issue.
