Responsibilities

• Incumbent would be responsible for end to end tax compliance of Asia Pac Region entities i.e. Japan, Hongkong, Taiwan and Australia
• He/She would be responsible for both Direct and Indirect tax compliance.
• Incumbent would need to assist local tax advisors in preparing and filing Direct and Indirect tax returns on or before due date , also making the necessary tax payments to local tax office
• He/She would need to assisting local tax advisors in preparing and filing WHT returns on or before due date including making necessary WHT payments to local tax office
• He/She would be assisting in implementation of WHT compliance process for APAC entities
• Incumbent would be advising WHT implications on international transactions as per local tax law of APAC entities
• Incumbent would be assisting local tax advisors in completion of health check exercise of APAC entities from tax perspective and assisting in implementation of findings of health check exercise
• Incumbent would be involved in developing internal processes defining data/details which internal teams are required to provide for tax compliances within the given timelines
• He/She would need to monitor the accounts balances related to tax GL codes on a regular basis to ensure that those balances are reconciled with tax returns/records

Requirements

• Must Be qualified Chartered Accountant.
• Must have hands on experience in both Direct Tax as well as Indirect Tax.
• Must have experience in filling tax return to loacl Tax bodies
• Must have handeled the taxation for APAC entities
