Position Description:
Job description

The Accounts Executive should be able to perform, analyze and evaluate accounting activities in order to support the assigned business group(s).Interaction with various groups within the organization to achieve financial goals and continued development of accounting systems and plans. Responsible for accurate and timely processing, calculating and reporting.


Key Responsibilities
  • Day to day management of accounting and finance functions
  • Process monthly salaries and employees payables
  • Address team queries related to accounts and IT
  • Process monthly TDS, EPF, reconciliations
  • Organize and maintain accounting and correspondence files/records appropriately
  • Independently handling various compliances with respect to TDS Returns, VAT Returns, Service Tax Returns, STPI etc.
  • Coordinating between intercompany departments like HR, operations etc
  • Assist in quarterly and annual audits
  • Coordinate with company CA, including physically visiting their office, as and when required
  • Responding to queries from senior management 
Must have skills
  • Bachelors/Master’s degree in accounting/finance
  • CA Inter or MBA Finance
  • 2+ years of post-qualification experience preferably in a IT industry

Preferred Skills/Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP preferable
  • Strong MS office skills
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
Professional Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate
  • Ability to work with Executives
  • Strong presentation skills
