| Job Purpose : Financial
Analyst is responsible for preparation of Budget, Monthly Reports
(Qualitative & Quantitative), Latest Estimates, assisting in
preparation of 5-year Strategic Plan. Key accountabilities also include
financial evaluation of all major decisions with respect to investments,
major spend or launch of new products.
Major Accountabilities :
Monthly Reporting
• Develop and maintain Business Performance Tracking System (including P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow) • Identifying and measuring key performance indicators and drivers • Highlighting key performance issues and critical gaps • Prepare review reports for Business Team • Prepare Brand Profitability / Performance Statement with comments & key insights • Monitor Stock in Trade and IMS Data for OTC Portfolio • Variance Analysis
Prepare and update latest estimates of monthly and annual performance
• Incorporate cross-functional inputs; critically analyze to firm up forecast. • Suggest improvements thru’ implementation of Better and Cheaper and Play Above Target initiatives • Ensure forecast accuracy
Responsible for Budget Preparation of the Business
• Drive Sales, Advertisement and Promotion Target in collaboration with Sales and Marketing Function • Firm up functional costs with key assumptions based on inputs from respective functions • Incorporate financial impact of various improvement projects planned for implementation •
Break-up of final Targets and Phasing based on Territory / Brand
Potential and resource deployments in collaboration with Marketing

Continually update business team on key market information
Assist in preparation and updating 5-year Strategic Plan • Adhere to Strategic Plan deadlines – continuously update same
Financial evaluation (& modeling) of key initiatives • Investments • New Product Launch / Special Projects Lead Finance function in cross functional process improvement projects
Work
closely with FRA (Financial Reporting and Accounting Team) and SAP
support team for developing reports and planning accounting activities
Provide Profit and Performance forecast data for Advance Tax computation • Act as brand champion to create enthusiasm and energy on the brand by engaging with internal and external stakeholders • Lead the multi-functional team to drive alignment and closure on projects • Lead and manage external agencies (advertising, research agencies etc.) to deliver initiatives for brands in the portfolio |
