The International Shared Service Center (ISSC) is one of the eight Finance & Accounts (F&A) shared service centers operating within Eaton Corporation. The ISSC-Pune provides services such as Accounts Payable (including Payment Processing), Travel & Entertainment (Concur) Expense Management, Accounts Receivable (including Credit, Collection & Cash Application), General Ledger (Controllership), Fixed Assets, Treasury, FP&A and Reporting & Analysis (R&A) to Eaton’s Business Units located globally. ISSC-Pune provides the above services and supports Asia-Pacific, EMEA and North America regions. ISSC-Pune is a key enabler to Eaton’s overall growth strategy while maintaining the highest levels of internal control, compliance to SOX and transparency of financial reporting. Job Responsibilities:
• Assistance and analysis in preparation of ES HQ monthly close and forecast reporting packages
• Prepare meaningful variance analysis and communicate results
• Preparation of on-going monthly and periodic financial reports
• Analyze operational and financial data, investigate variances, identify business drivers and evaluate their impact on planned objectives.
• Organize and deliver appropriate management reports
• Support in preparation of annual profit plan and strategic plan initiatives
• Perform journal entries and account reconciliations
• Promotion of good financial stewardship by helping control costs, driving forecast accuracy, driving balance sheet integrity
• Coordinate, interpret and respond to ad hoc financial requests within the region
• Perform additional analyses as assigned
• Work in a team environment to drive improvements in financial processes through tools/systems, automation and standardization.
• Accounting major (B.Com) & CA/ICWA/CFA/MBA (Finance), preferable.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis profile
• Captive/Multinational experience (pre-requisite)
• Experience in multinational manufacturing industry and with ERP preferred
• Working Knowledge of Business Intelligence Tools – Oracle, HFM, COGNOS, ENCORE etc.
• Proficiency with MS-Office – particularly Excel, Power Point, Word and Access
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret and relate financial data so that the resulting comments describe the key risks and drivers
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English are required
• Adaptable to varying cultures.
• Work well under pressure and be skilled at managing multiple tasks within demanding timelines
• Ability to work in a fast paced, continuously changing environment
• Eager to work in a dynamic and complex organization
• Must be a team player with a “can-do” attitude
