The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has launched a nationwide online survey on GST.
According to K. Jalapathi, secretary of the Southern Region Council of the ICAI, the survey was launched a couple of days ago and will be open till August 31. Chartered Accountancy students, industries, and anyone working in areas
related to GST can take the survey. The results will be consolidated and submitted to the Union Finance Ministry.
It is two years since the GST was introduced and there are several feedbacks regarding its implementation.
The idea is to study what the real issues are.
The Institute decided to launch a survey (http://idtc.icai.org/
cc/apps/survey.php) after discussing the proposal with the Finance Ministry and its report will be submitted to the Government, he said.
Those interested should share details about their profession and answer a set of 25 questions online, he said.
