It may seem to early to ask this question but it is apparent in wake of current situation created by coronavirus in India and world at large
As per latest news many states likes Maharashtra, Delhi, Tamil Nadu have announced closure of all schools, colleges, educational institutions, classes, etc. Maharashtra Govt as per reports has
postponed all University exams in states up to 15th April. This may be followed by other states looking at the rising number of coronavirus infected victims in various states across India.
As Maharashtra University exams have been postponed up to 15th April, the rescheduled exams of schools and colleges will automatically spill over to the month of May 2020 when ICAI has scheduled its CA final and IPCC examinations. As ICAI is dependent on schools and colleges for conducting its biannual examinations their availability from 1st May have become questionable given the situation. And same goes for ICSI whose exams are scheduled in June 2020.
As to how ICAI and ICSI are going to address this situation has to be seen. Hope ICAI and ICSI come out with a clarification soon in this matter.
