Senior Manager - Finance - Overview

The Senior Manager, Finance is responsible for designing and implementing the finance, Compliance and planning framework for Centrica India. Working with the CIO Management team to ensure the appropriate financial controls and plans are in place to enable us to forecast and meet our business goals, abide by statutory compliance, conducting financial analysis to support the CIO team in understanding the cost implications and providing recommendations to maximize potential and to mitigate risks.

Senior Manager - Finance - The Role

• Develop and implement financial and management reporting tools/controls/processes and respond to adhoc requests for financial reporting
• To be the Business Partner to Centrica India and Credit Operations team to achieve to its business targets and objectives and create financial reporting framework as to enable management to understand the numbers with ease
• Conduct Variance Analysis and reporting of financial results against the business plans
• Conduct competitor benchmarking and industry analysis
• Ensure Statutory Compliances for Centrica India and manage the treasury function for Centrica India
• Carry out financial analysis and manage the inter-company accounting process
• Work with statutory Auditors to ensure that audit is carried out smoothly
• Work with the UK finance team to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met

Senior Manager - Finance - The Person

• Technical/Educational: A Chartered Qualified Accountant (ACA, CA, ACMA) with a globally recognised accounting body or MBA (Finance); Working knowledge of ERP and strong working knowledge of Excel ; Ability to understand the Indian Statutory Rules and Regulations and interpret in Centrica India’s context.
• Experience: Experience of working for a global MNC (ideally with a European or US headquarter) and communicating internationally to headquarters outside of India
• Relationship: Excellent communication skills; have experience of influencing and engaging senior leaders Internal and external stakeholder construction and relationship management skills
• Leadership: Ability to add real value to a business through decision making analysis, scenario analysis
