Council Affairs: ICAI allows tabling of corporate governance resolutions at SIRC AGM!

Well the activism of members is finally beginning to show positive results... the ICAI has done a U turn and now accepted the tabling of the very same corporate governance related resolutions at SIRC AGM, though they refused to admit it at WIRC AGM. 

Good to see that the Council is seized of the sentiments of members... lets hope that these resolutions related to faculty appointments/disclosure of interest, are passed unanimously. ICAI must set the highest benchmarks of Corporate Governance and lead from the front as far as transparency is concerned. You can read all the resolutions at the below link..
