Description of job and Responsibilities:
One of the largest Investment Banks seek to hire a Senior Finance Business Partner to head up a team.
Minimum Requirements:
CA(SA)
Big 4 Articles
8 Years plus Industry Experience.
Experience within Senior Role within Banking.
Responsibilities:
Take responsibility for the full Financial Decision Support function.
Obtain a detailed understanding of the business
Reporting revenues daily and providing detailed commentary.
Provide creative and insightful analysis on the business performance.
Identify trends and interpret those trends to assist the executive management team in decisions.
Identify market or industry trends/information that will provide quality analysis and keep senior management and Exco informed.
Compile budgets, forecasts and medium term plans in detail with input from the management team.
Ensure that business is warned in instances where performance is not on track when measured against budget and advise where adjustments to the RAF are needed.
Respond to adhoc requests from the business
Submit analysis for month end reporting
Involvement in projects that might impact the business
Manage a team of people and instil a performance orientated culture within the team.
