Service Tax On 22nd September 2011:-Mumbai:- Hotel Ramada Plaza Palm Grove 24th September 2011:- Delhi:-Hotel Jaypee Siddharth | Central Excise On 12th October 2011:- Mumbai:- Hotel Ramada Plaza Palm Grove 13th October 2011:- Delhi:- Hotel Jaypee Siddharth |
Perspective In today’s corporate culture, compliance of tax laws is a joint responsibility of all the functions in an organization. Service Tax is not sole responsibility of persons handling regularly on day to day basis. Therefore, it is necessary for those who are engaged in the disciplines like Commercial, Finance, Production and even Marketing Departments to know the applicability of Service Tax, obligations to be discharged and also various benefits / facilities available. Further, it is a common scenario where management would expect to handle Service Tax as an additional responsibility either by the person handling Finance or Commercial. This requires to have basic knowledge of this tax law to begin with, so that one can shoulder the additional responsibility smoothly. Lack of exposure to Service Tax affects both to the organization as well as the effectiveness of the executives, since it can lead to unintended non-compliance of the law or non availment of the benefits which results in financial dents. Programme Objectives One Day workshop on Service Tax has been organized to meet the needs of various organizations for their executives to understand the provisions of Service Tax law for efficient and effective execution of their functions. It will provide a working knowledge, procedure and documentation in Service Tax which will help to build up confidence to handle the same Who Should Attend? Ø Executives from all the departments of operation who take upon Service Tax related matters directly or indirectly. Ø Proprietors, Partners and Directors to get acquaint with the basics of Service Tax for appreciating the same. | Perspective In today’s corporate culture, compliance of tax laws is a joint responsibility of all the functions in an organization.
