Planning,Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such asraw material purchases, inventory and labour.  Analysingdata collected and recording results.  Analysingchanges in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or servicesprovided, to determine effects on cost. Analysingactual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standardcosts to actual production costs. Recordingcost information for use in controlling expenditures. Analysingaudits of costs and preparing reports. Makingestimates of new and proposed product costs.  Providingmanagement with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices andprofitability of products or services.  MaintainingCost Accounting System. Assistingin Month end close of the General Ledger. Conductsphysical inventories and monitors cycle count program. Reconcilesfinished goods inventories.
