| You'll be responsible to manage closing & reporting for one of the divisions of GE |
| •
Working with a team of 1-2 individuals, you will be responsible for one
of businesses of the group. You will be reporting into the Process
leader for financial closing, reporting and compliance
• You will manage the complete financial operations like Closing, Reporting, Compliance, & build a strong Controllership.
• Support the business on General Ledger Management, accounting
& reporting activities and be the SPOC for business you are managing
• Closing & Finalization of books.
• Manage closing, account reconciliations as per GE calendar/ Policies.
• Ensuring Statutory Compliances - TDS, EPF, VAT, Service tax etc for the assigned entities.
• Lead the Audits – Statutory, Tax, Internal, Transfer pricing, etc for these entities
• Complete the US GAAP to Stat reconciliations
• Work with multiple teams – Biz Finance, Controllership, Systems team on various accounting & system related issues |
| • Qualified Chartered Accountant is a MUST for this role.
• 4 – 5 Years Post Qualification experience if the candidiate is CA /
8-9 years experience if the candidate is semi qualified professional is
a MUST for this job.
• Hands on experience in Fundamental Accounting combined with STRONG
Controllership experience in the early years of your career or
currently is definitely desired.
• MUST be a Expert in Closing & Reporting in one medium sized entity
• Experience in US GAAP will definitely add value to your role as most of your role will revolve around the same.
• Good working knowledge of Oracle Financials is definitely preferred for this role
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work and succeed within stretched timelines
• The candidate should be capable of assuming responsibility and ownership. |
