The Government of India under the leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji is all set to implement the GST in India and has indicated April 1, 2016 as target date for GST launch. Recently the Rajya Sabha Select Committee has also submitted its report to the parliament and the stage has been set for the implementation of the most important reform of Indirect Taxation in India.

Inspired by the report of the Select Committee, ASSOCHAM the most pro-active chamber of commerce has decided to organize a series of National Conferences on GST in the month of September - October 2015 at the following cities to have a detailed interaction between industry & government:

Shri Najib Shah, Chairman, Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC), Ministry of Finance has also confirmed to Inaugurate the Conference at New Delhi. Shri V S Krishnan, Member (GST), CBEC will be there at Chennai & Mumbai to Inaugurate the Conference.Smt Rashmi Verma, Additional Secretary, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance has been requested to Inaugurate the Conference at Kolkata & Hyderabad.
