Desired Candidate Profile
Educational Qualifications:Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant.
Experience:
- 7 - 8 years in the Accounts & MIS, Reporting, Budgeting with corporate taxation background
- Experience in a trans-national professionally managed company would be an advantage.
Computer Knowledge:
- Windows – Word, Excel, - Sound knowledge expected

Job Description
Accounts & Audit• Sound understanding of Accounting standards as per Indian GAAP. Exposure to US GAAP would be an advantage
• Responsible for managing the general accounting function. Oversee the completion of ledger accounts and financial statements.
• Provide leadership & direction in areas of Accounts receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Costing and General ledger
• Preparation of financial statements, finalisation of accounts for statutory audit.
• Ensuring timely completion of stautory audit and without audit qualifications.
• Independent handling of Tax audit and certifications etc.
Reporting - MIS
• Full responsibility of corporate reporting of month end reporting to Danaher Group
• Preparing forecasted financials statements.
• Analysing variations of actuals against forecasts
• Analysing costs and working capital elements and driving achievement of targets in costs and working capital.
• Product wise margin analysis and product cost analysis to help management to take pricing decisions.
Internal controls and compliances
• Ensure compliances of internal controls in finance department area.
• Ensure all account reconcilations are timely completed as per standard Danaher policy
• Responsible for SOX process including periodic testing of controls, maintaining documentation, ensuring compliances of all controls by various departments.
• Ensure corrective actions are taken on recommendations by internal auditors.
• Ensure compliances of Danaher Accounting policies and principals.
Corporate Taxation
• Finaising tax audit & income tax return for the company
• Ensuring compliance of tax rules in terms of Quarterly TDS returns , Advance tax payments etc.
• Preparing submissions for income tax appeal cases and appearing for Tax Assessments and appeal cases hearing.
• Attending transfer pricing audits and hearing / appeals etc.
• Reviewing Employee tax calculation and ensuring compliance of rules relating to the same.
• Timely submission of tax reporting requirements of Danaher Corporate.
