The incumbent will be part of the Global Accounting organization at FC-East. The position will report to SDL Financial Accounting. Primary responsibilities include doing policy based accounting process, preparing analysis, supports & commentary around BS accounts, policy implementation, enhancing controls & compliance around processes, ensuring seamless Month Close Process and supporting in BS Account Attestation, SOX testing and compliance. Strong accounting knowledge, systems knowledge (including mainframe knowledge & Excel skills), and ability to quickly grasp complex issues, gain end to end knowledge of processes is required. Strong ability to perform documentation of processes, activities is required.
• The incumbent will ensure that integrity, control and optimal functionality is maintained to ensure improvement of processes and associated cost/quality metrics.
• The incumbent will be required to have strong accounting knowledge, reconciliations knowledge, policy awareness & control mindset with ability to document processes, activities.
• Strong knowledge of AMEX systems, processes. Strong excel skills desired
• Ability to look at a process & gain knowledge on an end to end basis is desired
• The incumbent shall ensure compliance with all prevalent policies and procedures linked to the area and processes assigned to him / her.
• The incumbent should have good maturity and display flexibility to respond quickly to crisis situations related to process and customer issues.
• The incumbent must be willing to work in shift per the need of process area.
• The incumbent must be able to work with, communicate and influence all levels of management and be self-driven with minimal supervision.
• The incumbent must be able to effectively work in a team environment

The incumbent should be a qualified Chartered accountant or 3 years of post qualification B Com/ graduation Experience Additionally, potential candidates should have:
