Desired Candidate Profile

Candidate should be Chartered Accountant with at least 3 years experience or MCom with 8 years experience in a reputed company. Should have sufficient exposure to all fields of statutory dues for a manufacturing operation like Excise, Vat, Service Tax, PF, ESIC, TDS etc. Should be capable of independently leading a team of 6 acoountants for all responsibilities and activites until finalisation of balance sheet and tax assesments. Should be capable of producing periodic reports for management.

Job Description

Job involves managing a team of 6 accountants to handle and maintain accounts of a pharmaceutical manufacturing operation. All statutory dues including TDS, PF, ESIC, CESS, Excise, VAt, Service Tax, Income Tax would need to be dealt with. Job includes periodic visit to plant in Turbhe area. Candidate would need to be able to handle the team independently, deal with vendors and all the way upto auditors for finalisation of accounts and filing of balance sheet and tax assessments.

Keywords: should have full knowledge of accounting package like Tally. Should be capable of independent work and know how to handle a team.
