Key Duties
•Full financial responsibility for operations across India, including review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting to tight deadlines
•Day to day management of the India Financial operations
•Drive the implementation and enhancement of finance system to improve the quality and timeliness of information and financial reporting
•On-going projects and ad-hoc activities that may fall within the remit of the finance
•Developing, implementing and monitoring the financial controls and procedures of the company and ensuring consistency of accounting policy and procedures.
•Performance Management for finance team with regard to delivery of KPIs and objectives.
•Ensure compliance with all local legal and taxation laws, through ensuring all financial records are accurate, up-to-date and managed in line with fiscal requirements.
•Dealing with Tax and other compliance queries that the company receives
•Manage the preparation of statutory accounts and the USGAAP monthly reporting pack which will include management accounts by business unit.
•The role will require the individual to work in a matrix organization and provide leadership and direction at cross functional forums.
•Support the implementation and stabilization of a centralized finance function in India

Essential requirements:
•CA Qualification with a minimum 10 years PQE
•Experience working at a senior finance level with strong people leadership skills.
•A background in a US multinational would be desirable and an advantage but not a prerequisite
•Exposure to US GAAP reporting and strong technical accounting skills.
•A good knowledge of ERP systems is required in order to provide input on global initiatives.
•The candidate will possess strong finance acumen and have proven past experience of adding to the growth, value and success of a business
•Strong user of MS Office
•The person will have experience in management including direct team leadership, which will have required the person to demonstrate effective people management. Experience of setting up and/or operating accounting processes.
•Strong analytic skills with the able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
•Experience successfully leading projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas
•Demonstrated ability to work with a blank sheet of paper and develop a range of solutions to address issues or capitalize on new opportunities using a balanced view.
