JOB TITLE:                              Assr Mgr - Global COPA operations

The role also requires the incumbent to provide super-user SAP support by responding to all queries from both onshore and offshore MEC team and appreciate & act accordingly to urgent issues arising during month end closing. This includes documenting problems, progress checking, and ensuring all diagnostic information is provided for error resolution and incident analysis.
 
Apart from the operational support required during month end closing, the role is also required to plan, coordinate and drive project implementation to countries currently not onboard . This includes:
-       understanding of countries processes;
-       bridging gaps and aligning to standardised processes as much as possible;
-       work-shadowing and documentation on exceptions identified
-       identifying best practices for continuous improvement of  MEC activities;
-       developing / improving training materials to ensure effectiveness of capability building.
-       Assisting to train and build offshore service provider’s resource whenever needed
 
This role will give the candidate the opportunity to be in close contact with various stakeholders in the AAC and global and will give him/her a unique exposure and experience which will be beneficial in the future career.
 
MEC Operation Analyst Role:
·         Acts as an expert in the Business Processes and use of SAP (at least strong in CO if not PA) and support the MEC team with any related queries.
·         Understand the importance of Incidents to the business and manage escalation in consideration of agreed priorities.
·         Will be qualified to train users in the processes they support or know who provides the training in the local organisation or outsourcing party
·         As part of the MEC team, acts as an effective interface for MEC issues and queries to service providers, including documenting problems, progress checking, and ensuring all diagnostic information is provided for error resolution and incident analysis.
·         Assists users to make more effective use of the functional use of SAP systems, making initial diagnosis of problems and advising known solutions where applicable.
·         Monitors, logs and reports on actual service provided as compared to that required by SLA.
·         Ensure that all issue resolutions are properly documented and can be retrieved at any point as knowledge base to the operations team.
·         Prepares the required information for unresolved issues to be communicated to the relevant Managers in the respective business functions/countries.
Work closely with the Service Provider and Country Finance Team to support roll out of Global COPA
·         Operations to new countries.
·         Help to identify and highlight any opportunities for improvement in the MEC process and SAP system.
·         Drives implementation of Change Requests and process improvement initiatives.
·         Support the execution of rollout, participating in all phases of the project per assignment, ensures that actions are followed up and timings are adhered against the plan, providing regular and accurate reports to the team, as appropriate.
·         Detail analysis, documentation and proposals of any new functionality requirement to the MEC manager for new capabilities/continuous improvements to the Global COPA Operations programme.
·         Carries out assignments given by the Global COPA Operations manager, alone or as part of a team, applying knowledge, skills, and experience. Proposes viable solutions within the scope of own expertise, taking into account the needs of those affected.

·                     Project Management.  The ability to implement project s per assignment and working across virtual boundaries, ensuring projects are executed and completed within the time, quality and costs framework.
·                     Ability to work well with peers and demonstrate lateral influence
·                     Good customer/service focus
·                     Ability to prepare and present plans for new ideas, implementation and status reporting
·                     Able to work outside office hours during peak periods or Month-end Closing.
·                     Analytical skills and able to pick up things quickly.
·                     Does not settle for status quo
 
Essential:
·         Strong SAP skills & experience in FI&CO module
·         Knowledge and experience in Month-end Closing
·         Knowledge of finance business’ processes
·         Operations & Project Management experience.
·         Application Systems & Support.
·         Self motivated with an ability to work without direct supervision
·         Operation experience about working with outsourcing parties preferred
 
Desirable:
·         Business process implementation techniques.
·         Document management techniques.
·         Project management & tools.
·         Service level agreements.
