General Accounting:
Lead, manage and ensure the completion and accuracy of consolidated financial statements.
Effectively submit periodical and other returns and reports both with in the Organisation and externally.
Ensure that processes are in place ,reviewed and upgraded
periodically so that all accounting records are adequately and
accurately created and maintained and meet statutory requirements.
Ensure that all expenses and related payments are made according to
company procedures, policies . Adequate controls are in place and
regularly reviewed.
Ensure that procedures and processes are in place for timely and
accurate Product costing .These processes & procedures are reviewed
and upgraded periodically.
Ensure that year end closings are done in accordance with local requirements.
Ensure maintenance of fixed assets records and physical verification is carried out as per Pioneer Policy.
Ensure Statutory audits are planned and completed in time for all entities
Provide information to facilitate assessment proceedings under various Acts.
Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of processes & productivity improvement.
Ensure proper internal controls are in place and reviewed
periodically for improvement and are in line with Pioneer / DuPont
guidelines.
Train and develop people to continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Review and ensure compliance with the Accounting Standards and other regulations.
Treasury Management:
Coordination with treasury team for operational fund requirement.
Ensure preparation and sharing of cash flows on regular intervals with the treasury team.
Ensure timely international reporting related to treasury management.
Secretarial Compliances:
Coordinating with company secretary for conducting Board and Members meetings as per statutory and business needs.
Ensuring maintenance of all records as per applicable Corporate Laws.
Ensure timely filing of forms and returns with Registrar of Companies.
Ensure compliance with applicable Corporate Laws.
Ensure and communicate key changes relating to law / compliances which impact the business.
Statutory Compliances:
Ensure and manage company compliance with statutory regulations and
Satisfactory completion of Tax and Statutory audits for all entities
Provide all legal entity information to facilitate assessment proceedings under various Acts.
Ensure proper systems and procedures are in place for compliance with all SOX requirements.
Coordinate with tax and legal councels.
Tax Administration
Ensure that all direct tax payments are correctly computed and made in time.
Support tax team to manage Tax Litigation along with company lawyers.
Satisfactory completion of Tax audit for all entities.
Establish and maintain an effective relationship with tax authorities& tax lawyers.
