Advanced Services Financial Analyst
This is an excellent
opportunity to be a part of the Advanced Services Finance Delivery
Organization supporting the Cisco Services business across the APJC
Region(APAC, Japan and Greater China)
This is a very good
learning opportunity for any Finance Personnel and reports directly into
the Advanced Services Financial Controller.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•
Manage expenses commits for the APJC Advanced Services Delivery
organization which includes HC tracking, Month and Quarter closing, COGS
Forecast, Flash submission, and advising on Spend optimization, P/L
reporting and analysis. Variance analysis.
• Revenue Management and Reporting with Profit and Loss and Gross Margin Experience
• Forecasting COGS Monthly, Quarterly.
• Requires high level of attention to detail and also excellent business partnering skills
• Must be deadline driven and have a high level of excel spreadsheet knowledge
• Proven record of P&L understanding and Gross Margin Analysis in previous roles is a must
• US GAAP Revenue Recognition Principles(Basic) is highly desirable
• Good Communication skills dealing with multiple countries across APAC, Japan and Greater China
• Be part of the Advanced Services Finance Team and must be able to collaborate and work well in a team environment.

Must be an independent worker as management chain reporting may be
outside India and Business partners are across APJC that the position
interacts daily.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
• CA/MBA
Finance/ICWA/CMA/CPA qualified with at least 8 years work experience
in large multi-national company with exposure to various financial
activities (monthend close, financial planning & reporting etc)
• Relevant Accounting or Business University degree with at least 8 + years of relevant practical experience
SYSTEMS and SKILLS:
• Advanced Excel Spreadsheet experience required, large spreadsheet management, macros, advanced formules for consolidation
• High level of attention to detail required
• Solid Accounting Knowledge and proven Financial Planning and Analysis Experience
• Knowledge of US GAAP Accounting Principles
• Strong Communication Skills at both lower and upper levels of management
• Professional & positive attitude with a willingness to learn and drive improvements and efficiencies
