Job purpose
The incumbent analyses industry and company information from
primary and secondary sources, and transforms it into insightful and
actionable deliverables to meet client requirements, using various
analytical tools and techniques and adhering to quality assurance
standards. He / she uses his / her strong understanding of the assigned
industry to anticipate industry trends and issues that would impact the
key industry players, and supports the strategic decisions of the firm.
Your client responsibilities
-
Conduct pro-active research, using primary and secondary information sources, and provide insight on industry trends, industry drivers and processes, key players and competitive environment, for internal and external use.

Produce a range of analysis work, from high-level single frames to detailed reports, to support the firm's strategic decisions on industries, companies and emerging business topics. Demonstrates and applies strong subject knowledge to deliverables

Works independently with minimal guidance and independently handles production and review of deliverables - both quantitative and qualitative. Independently handle secondary research and content analysis on the assigned topic, present findings in a logical manner to formulate or support the hypotheses/ point of view

Provide expert reviews on majority of projects in the assigned subject area, solves moderately complex problems and demonstrate strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills in all outputs

Continuously develop and hone his / her knowledge on the assigned industry and generate original ideas for research and analysis.

Develop and maintain relationships with key experts in the industry and key account teams to build expertise, gain awareness of firm's competition and understand our customer needs better.

Develop and maintain relationships within the EYK to share and leverage knowledge.
Your people responsibilities

Help people to develop through effectively supervising, coaching, mentoring and providing feedback to junior staff

Contribute to people initiatives, including recruiting, retaining and training business modelling professionals
Technical skills requirements
- Demonstrate a Strong understanding of the assigned industry, including industry trends, relevant business, economic and regulatory issues, different business models, industry structure, key players and their strategies, etc
Additional skills requirements
-
at least 7 years of experience in analytical research focused on the assigned industry or in strategic planning with a key player in the assigned industry
