Service Line/Market Offering: Financial Instrument Valuation
Work Location: Hyderabad / Delhi
Key Job Responsibilities:• Serve
as a team member for financial instrument valuation engagements. The
work will focus on valuation of financial instruments in the areas of
fixed income, equity, and credit for both internal and
external clients,
and consulting projects related to financial instrument modeling, model
review, and securities pricing.
Key Skills:• Strong
background in mathematical finance at the Master's level - degree in
Mathematical Finance, Mathematics of Finance, Financial Engineering or
Quantitative Finance, or a related technical discipline.
• Understanding of financial instrument valuation concepts is desired and experience with valuation of securities or derivatives is a plus. Applicants are expected to have strong analytical and computer skills. Quantitative analysis technical skills and experience with modeling and valuation software (Visual Basic, MATLAB, Monte-Carlo Simulations, Bloomberg, and Numerix) are a plus.
• The position involves significant amounts of time spent in communication with clients and staff in consultative settings, and therefore good communications and interpersonal skills are required.
• We are specifically looking people with the ability to explain difficult financial modeling/valuation concepts to diverse client contacts.
• Personal characteristics should include: presentation, consulting, project management, client, and training / mentoring skills; strong presence and good communications and interpersonal skills; conceptual and quantitative depth in valuation methodologies and concepts and underlying markets and models.
Excellent Communication Skills and inclination to work in finance

U.S. India FIVS - ValuationThe Financial Instrument Valuation sub-offering of the Financial Instrument Valuation & Securitization (FIV&S) Market Offering provides services relating to the full life cycle of Valuation, including policy and process assessments, and quantitative solutions to support the valuation of all types of financial instruments including complex derivatives, securities, commodities and other investment products. Valuation service offering also provides advisory services to financial institutions, governmental agencies and finance companies.
The Financial instrument Valuation group performs valuation services for derivatives, structured products, energy products and also exchange traded securities.
