Essential Responsibilities	1.Lead compliance of indirect tax laws. Track and monitor compliance of filing requirements for Service tax, VAT and any other applicable Indirect tax 2.Drive synergy on tax and standardize related processes 3.Ensure that appropriate Internal Controls in place, in line with local statutory laws and GAPs, and critically examine potential issues where financial risks & opportunities may be drawn out for tax line items 4.Own all process linked to indirect tax accounting, reporting and compliance. 5.Indirect tax positions, returns, assessments and audits for Indirect taxes 6.Streamlining of tax related processes and help team define Standard Operating Procedures 7.Support project teams from Indirect tax perspective with respect to designing and implementation of business Operating Systems (viz, Vision+ etc.) 8.Own Indirect Tax related balance sheet accounts and review reconciliations on Indirect taxes. 9.Ensure integrity, completeness and accuracy in account reconciliation process 10.Support in Statutory and tax audits 11.Support Tax Leader and consultants on driving favorable closure on litigations. 12.Work with cross functional teams to effectively structure business transactions and optimize tax efficiencies
Qualifications/Requirements	•Chartered accountant •At least 5-8 years of work experience within Indirect Tax
