The percentage of vote polled during the last two ICAI elections

It is very important we participate in the voting process. The following is the percentage of vote polled during the last two elections:–

     ·         When we compare polling pattern for the years 2009 and 2012, Net % of Polling is only around 45%.
·         We need to increase the polling % in order to ensure Members Interest is protected in the council.
 
·         Non–voting may leads to wrong person may get elected to the council. It may also show bad signal to the government about the unity of CA Fraternity.
 
·         As you are aware the number of seats from SIRC got reduced from 7 to 6, selecting right people is member’s duty.
Election Dates:
For Metro Cities - (Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad) - 4th and 5th of December 2015.
For all other places – 5th of December 2015.
