Job Description

 

• Finalizing Legal entities financials on monthly basis and support Legal Entity Controller (LEC) in all US regulatory reporting
• Partner with Legal Entity controller (LEC) to support on financial reporting and business initiative
• Quarterly Regulatory reporting as per US FED and SEC requirements for Asian Legal Entities
• Support various lines of business and report  line of business wise performance reporting on Monthly basis and query resolution
• Financial Integrity of General Ledger by performing daily control checks & follow ups
• Review of Reference data hierarchy
• Perform various reconciliations (Account level, system, inter-company etc) to ensure financial integrity.
• Participate in user acceptance tests during projects on system implementation/changes

Qualifications

 

Education -

CA Student who has 1yr of articleship left and wants to do industrial training.

 

Skills -

. Strong accounting knowledge with experience in Book closure and finalizing accounts

. Strong control mindset. Analytical skills.

. Ability to multi-task under considerable time pressure, whilst maintaining a high degree of

accuracy and quality

. Good team player and quick learner

. Good communication and organizational skills including partnering skills and proactive

ness

. Enthusiastic, with a positive can do attitude

. Strong PC skills including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access and Lotus Notes.

. Investment Banking product knowledge including derivatives, equities and debt securities

Knowledge of Oracle GL platforms would be an advantage
