The objective of this role is to be an information partner for financial accounting, management performance, FP&A, finance business partners and other departments within SE IPO team. This team will provide information to facilitate quick, effective decisions which help exercise first-rate compliance and financial management. Ideally, the role will simplify and communicate complex reporting structures and processes. This role will also support the month end systems closing processes on IPO’s global systems including but not limited to SAP and other information management tools as implemented..
This role will take a leading role in finance projects including supporting new implementations and system improvements while looking for synergies with global processes. This role will be instrumental in month end operations, govern and control the processes around systems update and changes and ensure efficiency in and maximized use of SE ERP’s, data warehouses and business intelligence tools.

· Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or related discipline plus CPA or CA qualified coupled with an Undergraduate or Post graduate Degree in an IT discipline

· Experience in month end closing in a SAP environment
· Experience in SAP Financial Processes (FICO)
· Proven experience working within a complex, matrix style environment
· Proven experience developing and maximizing the use of Business Intelligence systems and tools
· Proven experience in stakeholder and customer management, experience in training a plus
· Proven driver of achievement and problem/project resolution in every role
· Experience in a major ERP environment preferably SAP in an implementation, key user or support role
· Advanced MS Excel, MS Access experience.

· Understanding of financial reporting principles and systems
· Understand the need to provide information to the business.
· Knowledge of external compliance requirements.
· Understanding of internal commercial requirements to support growth and efficiency.

· Proven organizational skills
