National Students Convention for CA students on 14th & 15th july at Kolkata

We have the pleasure to inform you that Board of Studies of ICAI is organizing a two day Students' National Convention on 14th and 15th July,2012 (like every year) in Kolkata & this mega-event of CA students is being hosted by Eastern India Chartered Accountants Students' Association(EICASA) & Eastern India Regional Council(EIRC) of ICAI wherein more than 1500 students would participate from across India.
 
The Convention provides an opportunity for Chartered Accountantancy students across the country to meet and discuss matters of their interest as C.A. students.  It offers  a rare occasion for the students to share their ideas and experiences to strengthen avenues of self-expression in the process of their transformation to a member of the Chartered Accountants fraternity. Renowned speakers from different part of India are also
invited to  speak on  professional and motivational topics.
 
Prof. Saugata Roy , Honourable Union Minister Of State for Urban Development would be the Chief Guest of the Convention * . This Convention is also being graced by CA. Jaydeep Narendra Shah , Honourable President & CA. Subodh Kumar Agrawal , Honourable Vice President of our Institute & other Central & Regional Council Members of the region.  The theme of the Convention is  " Changing Dynamics Of  CA Profession " .

The fee has been fixed at Rs.500 per delegate (whereas total per delegate cost is almost Rs. 1,800 i.e. less than 30% is being charged by the Institute).Details have been hosted at www.nationalconvention2012.in <http://www.nationalconvention2012.in>
 
Students will get Convention KIt ( bag, pen, etc ), background materials, 3 meals & 1 high tea during the 2 days, etc.
 
Please advise/sponsor your Articled Assistants &  CPT/IPCC/Final students known to you, to take part in the Convention since the programme has been developed to suit their requirements.
 
A copy of the delegate registration form alongwith the brouchure is attached ( photocopies of same can be used for multiple registration)

           2) In case no. of students are sponsored then CA Firms can send Local/AT Par A/C Payee Cheque of total amount in favour of
               "ICAI,EIRC" alongwith a letter containing the list of student-delegates mentioning their names & registration numbers.
