Pune Camp CPE study circle is pleased to announce its 1st Study circle meet for the calender year 2013 on

Saturday 19th Jan, 2013 at Hotel Aurora Towers from 7.30 am to 10.30 am.

 

The structure of session would be as follows:

7.15 am to 7.30 am	Registration
7.30 am to 9.00am	Practical Understanding of New TDS Website Faculty :- CA Swapnil Gorde and Sunil Mastood from Sinewave , Pune Traces stands for TDS reconciliation Analysis and Correction Enabling system and has been set up by the TDS centralized processing Cell of the Income Tax Department. The new portal has been created using latest technology to enhance swift interaction between the deductor, deductee,income tax department & CPC. The session aims to provide the hands on experience on the actual working of this portal
9.00am to 10.30am	Certification U/sec 195 of the Income Tax Act, 1961 Faculty :- CA Jiger Saiya, Partner MZSK & Associates, Mumbai While issuing the TDS certificate the CA has to ascertain correct legal position as to whether the remittance is taxable and also to determine the correct rate of tax. CA steps into the shoes of the assessing officer in determining the tax liability. At the same time he has to look after the interests of the client. When the tax determination is done correctly the CA fulfills both the roles effectively. This session aims to cover the theory, practical aspects, documentation, risk reward ratio for issuing these kinds of certificates.
