Responsibilities
- Provide actual financial results versus budget/forecast, with variance commentaries, presentation of the monthly Management Report, highlighting cost performance and pertinent aspects of the business which includes :
- Detailed Interaction with Functional Head and analysis based on past-trends as well as factoring business changes.
- Ensuring that expense are appropriately allocated and accepted by business units and a clear ownership for achievement is defined.
- Doing detailed analysis of capital expenditure/ Opex expenditure submissions and drive the reduction in Spend to increase organization’s profitability
- Developing and Tracking the KPI’s to measure the performance of the function and proactively highlighting the key concern areas.
- Lead the forecasting and annual planning process as well as analyzing trends in NW and IT costs and linkages to company’s revenue.
- Collaborates with the senior management to develop the short term & long term strategic plan for the NW and IT Cost.
- Influences business results by providing pertinent real time information and MIS to/Function/LoB leaders to help them achieve financial results.
- Provide support to the Corporate MIS/AOP team & other LoB Support Finance Team to facilitate gathering, interpreting and conveying financial and statistical information in an analytical manner which supports business planning.
- Manage Financial Planning & forecasting to help the organisation to drive growth.
- Identifying areas for process improvements to enhance quality of MIS & Approval Process.
- Direct responsibility for building and leading the NW and IT Support team.
Requirements
- CA/MBA (finance)
- Proven analytical skills, financial modeling and operational analysis experience
- Should be adequately hands-on and analytical thereby capable of getting and sharing insights in evaluating financial performance of organization.
- Proficiency with Excel, Power Point, and database skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience working in multinational and matrix organizations
- Knowledge of Oracle / SAP essential.
- Good Knowledge of Accounting.
- Ability to make decisions based on analytics and business case
- Solid performer who is highly ethical, decisive, action oriented and team-worker with high energy and process mindset to achieve superior results
- 5-7 years (Preferably in Telecom Industry)
