On 21/12/2013 Patna Branch of CIRC of ICAI organised cpe program on service tax provisions relating to real estate& Builders at Hindustan club Bhagalpur. This program was organized under the banner of Investors Education & Protection fund. It is highly objectionable that in the name of investors awareness seminar on service tax for CA's in Bhagalpur was organised.Even CA's of bhagalpur paid Rs 750/
participation fee and attended the program. Around 32 members attended the program, no one raised the issue why under the banner of Investors Awareness Program, seminar on service tax is organized. It is not a
case that all of sudden program was changed. Actually members of Bhagalpur were informed foe Seminar on service tax only, and while conducting program banner of Investors awareness was put behind to show that the Investors awareness program has been conducted.
