Description
Drive all M&A related activities and deliverables as they impact the General Ledger and Controls team leveraging extended teams across the group . Leverage knowledge of GL&C processes in arriving at and deploying solutions . Project manage all deliverables across various projects . Perform change management driven consequent to process, technology changes . Define, monitor and report key milestones, adherence to these milestones . Design and facilitate scorecard reviews with senior leaders across GL&C and GFO for all ongoing deals . Maintain Specific focus on current projects - understanding linkages, dependencies and ensuring all stakeholders are aware of the same. . Spearhead all customer and stakeholder communications on behalf of General Ledger & Control as these relate to all M&A projects . Work with all processes / products across GL&C to help drive solutions of key issues, dependencies, gaps and flag pressure points across all project manage and own the project resources . Partner and collaborate across GBS, Business, Finance, Other Controllership Teams on new deal implications . Drive execution and optimize resources with good project management skills in an ambiguous environment

Qualifications

The Incumbent Should Either Be A B.Com (Or Equivalent) / CA / Mba With Relevant Working Experience. Well-Developed Analytical Skills, Ability To Understand The Linkages To Processes. Demonstrated Accounting Expertise. Ability To Think Innovatively And To Pursue Ideas With Conviction. Excellent Team Player With Strong Inter-Personal Skills And Communication Skills - Both Written And Spoken. The Incumbent Should Be Assertive, Should Be Able To Influence & Corroborate Without Direct Authority. A Self-Starter With Ability To Operate Under Ambiguous Circumstances. Must Have Good Communication And Interpersonal Skills And Be Able To Interact With Senior Leadership With Finance ,Multiple Employee Levels /Business Partners/Customers Etc Demonstrate Leadership Skills Needed To Create, Develop, Train, Motivate And Communicate With Diverse Work Force. Must Have Strong, Proven People Management Skills. Handling Cross Functional, Cross Cultural Teams. Additional Information (Appears On Internal Postings Only) The Incumbent Should Have Tenured 18 Months Or More In Current Role In Fc-East As On The Date Of Application Deadline. Should Not Be Currently On A Staging Post Assignment Should Have A Minimum Performance Rating Of G2/L2 . The Primary Focus Will Be To Continually Improve The Process(Es) Effectiveness By Providing Value Added Mis And To Ensure That Integrity, Control And Optimal Functionality / Efficiency Is Established, Maintained And Improved. . Shift The Teams Focus From Information Delivery To Value Added Analysis. Which Facilitates And Enables For Business Decisions. . The Incumbent Shall Quickly Gain Detailed Understanding Of Inputs, Processes, Controls, Flows, Metrics, Risks Of The Process Area -Gar . Should Have The Ability To Proactively Control Exposures Through Education Of Various Finance Policies To Various Staff Groups. . Ensure Smooth Implementation And Manage Change Effectively. . The Incumbent Also Required To Maintain And Develop Matrix Environment. . The Incumbent Shall Ensure That All Deadlines Are Continually Met And Adequate Controls Are Maintained Over The Processes Handled By Him/Her. . Should Have Good Maturity To Respond Quickly To Crisis Situations Related To The Process, Customers And Unique Employee Issues. . The Incumbent Shall Support Various Initiatives/Projects For The Area, Primarily Around Quality, Controls And Improving Hygiene Of Axp Balance Sheet Accounts. . The Incumbent Shall Be Required, Among Other Things, To Maintain Close Contact With Customers / Business Partners, Technologies And Other Interface Groups, Senior Leadership Across The Globe. . In Addition, The Incumbent Will Ensure Compliance With The Prevailing Policies And Procedures Besides Contractual And Regulatory Requirements As Applicabl.
