Mumbai: Professional
services firm KPMG on Wednesday said deputy chief executive officer
(CEO) Dinesh Kanabar has decided to quit to pursue entrepreneurial
goals.
“It is time for me to make time for myself and my family. I will be
moving out to start my own venture,” said Kanabar, who was deputy CEO
for four years, said in a statement issued by KPMG.
He will leaving the company by the end of October this year, the
statement said.
The company’s CEO Richard Rekhy said Kanabar was instrumental in
rejuvenating KPMG’s tax practice and the markets function. The statement
did not mention anything about a successor.
“KPMG...will continue to aggressively invest in its growth strategy for
the country given the emerging positive business environment,” Rekhy
said. PTI
