About the Position: Responsible for data entry in accounting software for India (both in Tally & in JDE) Prepare Monthly MIS Reports ( ie Balance sheet, profit & Loss Accounts etc.) Assist with the month end intercompany reconciliation Support the annual/quarterly audit/tax reporting requirements for India Maintaining the Fixed Assets Register for India Collection of Employees Reimbursements ( both Medical, LTA & Other official expenses and preparing a spreadsheet for Payroll Processing Collection of Investment Proofs from employees and preparing a spreadsheet for the Tax computation purposes Compute Withholding Tax on Vendor Payments & Prepare and Deposit Monthly withholding Tax Returns Verify Vendors Invoices and make sure that there are no Bogus or Duplicate Invoices entered in the Systems Prepare Payment Request forms and Initiate Payments to Vendors Preparation of Audit Schedules Ensure that all the documents are filed properly Able to interact with MV office as and when necessary Required Skills and Experience: Master’s Degree with 5 years experience or Chartered Accountant with 2 years of relevant Experience Minimum of 3 years of India accounting A demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines Proficient MS Office skills required Must be detail oriented
