Companies Bill to be taken up on 5th august

Looks like the 8 year long journey of the new Companies Bill is entering the
very last stretch. On the very first day of the Monsoon Session ( Aug 5th
.. tomo ), the Bill, which has been passed by Lok Sabha, is listed for
discussion and voting in Rajya Sabha.

It has major implications for Companies as well as professionals and its
high time that the outdated Companies Act, 1956 was done away with.
