Job Description

 

Key Responsibilities would include:-

• Monitor & Ensure all the accounting controls are in place e.g. cash reconciliations, GL Operations, accounting entries etc
• Oversee day to day accounting operation, deliverables and execute month, quarter & year end closing process.
• Legal entity reporting , General Ledger Reconciliation and Substantiation Process sign off, LEC attestation etc.
• Month end reporting activity.
• Submission of data to other teams for global profitability reporting.
• Co-ordination & support for the annual audit process, both internal and external, as applicable
• Interacting with the onshore partners & understanding their request & provide necessary support.
• Team Management, building resiliency & backups within the team.
• Work in partnership with Local ORM, Audit, HR & Training teams

• A degree in accounting or finance related discipline, preferably a CA.
• 4 to 6 years of working experience in accounting , knowledge of  US GAAP is preferred.
• Hands on knowledge on SAP General Ledger is a plus.
• Mature, independent, self motivated, conscientious, able to work under pressure and drive changes.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Sound analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft excel, including macros
• Strong business acumen
• Creative, ready to think outside the box and add input to improving existing workflows
• Positive attitude and a good team player
• Ability to work independently
• Strong interpersonal skills
