Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities - include specific functions/ tasks/ performance objectives
- Prepare any type of accounting for any state or handle any other request.
- Resolve most complex issues
- Assist others with resolution of issues
- Quality Control accounts prior to being sent out
- Review accountings prepared in the area for accuracy
- Responsible for preparing financial statements for multiple entities.
- Able to handle simple to moderately complex issues related to the accounting.
- Able to meet service level standards for timeliness and accuracy.
- Able to prepare annual, triennial or intermediate type accountings with little or no assistance.
- Make appropriate adjustments to accountings to resolve issues and balance.
- Must clearly understand account transactions and what schedule they belong on.
- Able to process fee calculations for any state that requires unique calculations.
Qualifications
Essential Skills & Experience -- include specifics
regarding academic/ professional qualifications (e.g. degree,
university, results), # yrs total and # yrs relevant work experience,
relevant employers, relevant experience (nature of work/ job functions)
- 1-3 years experience in preparing accountings
- Ability to train other staff members or assist them with problem resolution
- Trust School 1, 2 and/or equivalent training or experience
Preferred Skills & Experience - include specifics, as above
CA Final candidate will
be preferred. Three- Five years experience in trust administration is a
plus. Related business experience in areas such as fiduciary and
investment operations, accounting, paralegal, grant administration, or
employment with a nonprofit organization will be considered.
