It is present in 5 countries with 10 manufacturing units & has combined revenue of USD 1 Bn with EBITDA of USD 100 Mn. This business has a workforce of around 15000 employees. The Domestic Textiles Business with 3 units GBTL JST & VW is involved in making PV Linen & Worsted Yarn. Apart from this Business makes Linen & PV Fabric. The Business also makes wool tops for domestic & international customers. While Linen segment mainly caters to domestic demand Worsted yarn is predominantly exported. PV fabric is exported to top retailers across the Globe & is also sold through Domestic OTC brands Grasim & Graviera. 

Description

To develop & assist strategy deployment for existing business revenue streams expansions new business segments and overall business growth. To assist the Business Head (BH) to realize the vision for the Business and drive initiatives specifically for Overseas Spinning & Domestic Textiles To drive additional efforts to focus on improving customer orientation across business through implementation of various customer centric initiatives.

Key Result areas:

1. To support BH & Head strategy in devising developing & rolling out of Long term 3-5 years & tactical business 1-2 years planing line with Vision of BH Domestic Textiles/ Acrylic Fibre /Overseas Spinning Business for Linen SBU, Grasim Bhiwani Textiles Ltd (GBTL) & Overseas Spinning (OS)business. This would be in line with General Direction from the BH & Head Strategy. The plan to be adaptive to enable integration of new developments / solutions.

2. Support the Business CEO & Head strategy in driving and managing the Project Management Office PMO for efficient and timely execution of business plan and key projects for OS & GBTL business.

3. Initiate projects for entry /Identifying new segments; new initiatives.Drive pilot projects with support of respective business teams

4. Design and introduce initiatives to help businesses build Marketing capabilities

5. Facilitate collaborative working across the 4 businesses in the textile sector Domestic Textiles Acrylic Fibre Aditya Birla Yarn Viscose Fibre by ensuring smooth working of the Apex Committee-

6. Ensure alignment of financial numbers per P&B to the long term vision & to share feedback with BRC on all strategic projects &their impact on the business

 

Qualifications

 MBA from top tier institutes or a CA Mandatory Skills Business Strategy, Business Visioning/Planning, Marketing Capability development, Cross functional orientation, Analytics Communication and influencing skills Problem Solving and root cause analysis Action and result oriented Forward and outside in thinking Ready to travel nationally and internationally  Indian Rupee (INR)
