Grievance | Respected Sir This is another effort of getting Cashless medical fecilities to practicing CA. As we know that nowdays medical bills are raising at rocket speed. Its our duty( members & ICAI) to protect suffering members & family with these heavy bills. Unless we protect them, Professional ethics will be only in paper. Since long time I am urging ICAI to tie with insurance company & provide cash less medical fecilities to members who are in practice. Nominal extra amount can be collected at the time of membership fee every year. A company with 100 employees can provide these fecilities to employees, why cannot ICAI who has moe than 100000 practicing CAs???. another way is to amend Professional ethics& make Statutory Auditor will be treated as Employee for limited purpose of Medical Fecilities A company who are appointing statutory auditor should also extend medical fecilities even to statutory auditor. This type of changes had made recently by MCA. MCA had issued ciruclar that LLP will not be treated as Body Corporate for limited purpose of Sec 226 ( appointment of Auditor. Why cannot ICAI take clue of this and make necessary changes to code and ethics to treat auditor equivalent to employees for the medical fecilities. A company can deduct extra fees just like from employee from professional fee. This will give benefit to most of practicing CAs as these guys will be statutory auditor of one or big company or concurrent auditor or anything. So this small change can make big difference in life of Practicing CA |
