ICAEW Membership via Pathways - apply by 16 December

REMINDER: your final chance to apply to become an ICAEW Chartered Accountant    As you have previously shown an interest in ICAEWs Pathways to Membership scheme, or you may know someone who is interested, we would like to remind you how to apply and that the scheme closes to UK-based applicants on 16 December 2011 Pathways to Membership - how to apply You will need to complete an Examination of Experience which can be done in your own time and is based on your previous experience. Use the checklist below to check your eligibility and how to apply. 1. Check your eligibility to apply  You need to have at least five years of full membership with your professional body before you apply. You must be from ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, MICPA, AICPA or CPA Australia to be eligible. 2. Sponsor requirements Make sure you have a sponsor who has a detailed knowledge of your work through  working closely with you.  We cannot accept your application if your sponsor doesn't meet all the requirements. Please check the full criteria carefully. 3. Frequently asked questions Read the answers to your frequently asked questions before you apply. 4. Register your interest Once you register, you will have free access to extra support for your application. This includes a webinar which takes you through the Examination of Experience application process, plus guidance notes from examiners, sample scripts and more.   5. Attend a workshop These free workshops will help you understand what is needed for your application. If you're unable to attend a workshop, we recommend you listen to the free webinar. 6. Complete the application form  Complete your application form in full and submit with fees before 16 December deadline.
