Job Description 

Senior Associate - Banking & Capital Market Research - GSS0016V

IN-Kerala-Kochi

·         Good exposure to Banking & Capital markets domain and a sound understanding of KPI’s in Banking industry

·         Understanding of regulatory requirements like Sarbanes Oxley Act, Basel III, Dodd Frank Act etc for financial institutions

Ø  Awareness of timelines for implementation

Ø  Preparedness & impact on financial institutions

·         Knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP and International auditing standards. Knowledge of GCC/MENA accounting and auditing standards is an added advantage

·         Should be well versed in company and industry research

·         Proficient in the analysis of company financial statements

·         Perform ratio analysis, competitor bench marking, transaction and valuation analysis

·         Review work performed by other team members

·         Proficient in using online research data tools like Factiva, Reuters, One Source, Hoovers etc

·         Performing Qualitative and Quantitative account business development support

·          

·         MBA in Finance/CA/CFA (level 2) having a minimum of 3 -5 years of experience post MBA

·         Knowledge/Work experience preferably with financial institutions in regulatory aspects

·          Domain knowledge of Banking and Capital markets is mandatory.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills

·         Exceptional analytical skills, lateral thinking, and judgment

·         A proactive approach and a high level of enthusiasm

·         Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications (PPT, Excel, Word)

 

·         Ability to meet strict, aggressive deadlines

·         Investment research experience is an added advantage
