JOB DESCRIPTION

• Demonstrated (hands on experience) subject matter knowledge in compliance, risk assessment and monitoring
• Contract compliance and contract audit
• Setting processes for implementation of risk compliance policies
• Third party due diligence and risk assessment, documentation of all controls basis the risks
• Ensure that the risk compliance and other corporate governance policies are implemented effectively at Star and all group companies in India
• Create awareness on Corporate Governance policies at all levels
• Should enhance industry specific and business understanding
• Able to be a trusted member within the compliance team
• Assist in forensic reviews

QUALIFICATION

• Chartered Accountant / MBA with a sound background and understanding of internal control monitoring activities
• Certification in Internal Audit would be a plus
• 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in the risk assessment & Audit/compliance role preferably from Big4 audit firms

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Experience in understanding and assessing risk to business and monitoring and compliance thereof
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills, including ability to work effectively within a team and a fast-paced dynamic business environment
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to communicate issues and solutions in an articulate, precise and effective manner
• Should have excellent research, analytical skills and should be able to exercise judgment and discretion to opine on risk assessment and compliance issues effectively
• Strong communication skills and good command over English (both oral and written) and the ability to interface with people across all levels in the organization
