Position Description

Job Summary:  

• This position is responsible for monthly BCS reporting, Master Finance month closing, Group audit & hard close audit, statutory audit, balance sheet reconciliation, key user for systems & preparing MIS report. 

Job Content:

• Roles:  Monthly BCS reporting, Master Finance closure, Coordination with Group, Hard close, Internal and external audit, BS reconcilation, System Key user and MIS reporting. 

• Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities:

1. Monthly BCS Reporting.

1. Reporting of quantity information in A1 pack on working day 2.
2. Reporting of Intercompany and transfer pricing in A2 pack on working day 3.
3. Reporting of Balance Sheet P&L and Statistical items in A3 pack on working day 4.

2. Master Finance Closure.

1. Ensure all entries from feeder systems are posted in Master Finance.
2. Ensure posting of all accruals and provisions.
3. Ensure common cost allocations and closing entries posted.
4. Run all month closing activities
5. Lock Master Finance for the reporting period and transfer data to BCS in working day 2.

3. Group audit and Hard close audit.

1. Prepare the audit schedules as per the audit scope for the company.
2. Handle further data requests and audit queries from auditors.
3. Assistance in preparing the final report from auditors to group.

4. Statutory Audit

1. Preparation of statutory financials along with all notes and disclosures.
2. Making adjustments to group reported data in accordance with Indian GAAP.
3. Preparation of audit schedules and General Ledger level.
4. Gathering data for business control for schedule supporting.
5. Handle further data requests and audit queries from auditors.

5. Balance Sheet reconciliation

1. Preparing general ledger reconciliation as per plan.
2. Review of reconciliation prepared and set action plan.
3. Review of action plan on steps taken for issue resolution.

6. Key user for Systems – including Master Finance
7. Preparing MIS report for the monthly financial update to Management

Accountability:

• Accountable for reporting accurate P&L and BS items

Key Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of Accounting and reporting.
• Very good Inter-personal and people/team management skills.
• Detail orientated, reliable, team working and flexible to demanding working schedule when needed.
• Co-ordinate with external and internal audit team.

Required knowledge & experience:

1. Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position:

• Professional Qualification –Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification with 2-5 years of relevant experience.

2. Additional Important Requirements:

• Result oriented, reliable and highly skilled personnel to meet the demanding working schedule
