Key responsibilities
- Manage the forecast, outlook and close cycles with the controller and other business partners
- Perform variance analysis across expense categories during the close and assist the controller in Opex bridges
- Provide the Finance Controller with analytics and insights into Opex trending across different L5s
- Review and approve PO requisitions, FTE and Contractor reqs
- Recommend improvements or new initiatives and implement them
- Financial review with L5 strategist during close and outlook cycles
- Support FPA/Controller project initiatives
- Quarterly tracking of outside services spend with the break of Fieldglass Contractor, Consulting, Other Opex PO, Amortizations.
- Anticipate Risks or Opportunities basis C&B, OS tracker, Cross charges
- The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Commerce with 6+ years’ experience in finance or CA/MBA with 4+ years of post qualification experience
- Proven business acumen with good financial awareness
- Knowledge of finance tools like FDM, HPT, EPM is an added advantage
- Flexibly to support partners in different timezone
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented, at ease with numbers
- Strong Excel and written/oral communication skills
- Ability to manage varying workloads during the month/quarter end and proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Can work independently and be a self-starter
- Flexible and able to learn on the fly and be comfortable in dealing with ambiguity
- Strong team player with ability to work in remote teams
- Enthusiastic, forward thinking, self-motivated individual, willing to learn, results driven.
