This role is for a Financial Analyst to manage the India and ASPAC regions for the Corporate Information Systems (CIS) & Global Infrastructure Services (GIS) organizations.
The role will participate in all of the FP&A activities for these organizations, including:
Lead planning cycles including developing & consolidating monthly estimates, Operating Plan, Growth Playbook, SII, and corporate reporting
Track progress against plan at a granular level. Identify risk and opportunities; recommend actions to get to planned performance for the operating teams
Understand, communicate and explain variance drivers and identify root cause and action owners
Work with finance and operating leaders to understand and drive opportunities for growth and managing cost. Lead and provide analytics on strategic initiatives , specifically around the GDCs
Manage the monthly close process with focus on accruals and billing/liquidations
Drive investment analysis including cash flow
Run reviews with operations and finance leaders as well as senior management
Provide financial leadership on project reviews: perform cost benefit analysis and evaluate business case
Opportunity exists to lead and manage a team
A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business and minimum 3 years in accounting and financial analysis
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills - will interact with Business Unit Finance/IT Leaders
Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications
Strong project management skills
Strong critical thinking and strategic planning
Knowledge of US and GE GAP
MBA/CAS
CPA/Chartered Accountant or equivalent
FMP Graduate
Motivated self -starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Effective communication skills: oral, written and presentation
Excellent analytical and business problem solving skills
Adaptable/flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or able to work in ambiguous situations
