Dear Members,
Every Chartered Accountant is born to think, but seldom we have time to do so. We have over the years, become doer’s than thinkers.
With this in mind we thought of taking a session on something which everyone desires but can’t really make it operational.
This session on Automation of CA’s office is being taken suddenly in the beginning of the week since we have a very illustrious speaker on this subject. Guruprasad is a renowned CA from Bangalore having 200 people in his team and has no files in his office! He has himself developed an ERP for this purpose. Guruprasad has also an ICAI registered network “BATGACH” and is coming all the way from Bangalore for helping CA’s in pune managing their offices more efficiently.
The session would high light some of the challenges we face in the profession, the reasons for late sitting, use of technology to do tracking, repetitive jobs and manage effective control of an office.
Be it a 5 member firm or a 500 member firm technology is the same for everybody, it is not the size of the firm which determines the technology but the aptitude to use of an ERP in an office
We would discuss some aspects of data management, data flow, HR controls, Client billing controls, instructions to articles and assistants, standardization through use of software.
All this would be with live examples and brain storming.
See you all on Monday the 20th Feb 2012 at Aurora Towers at 5.30 p.m.
Regards
Convenor
