Our Institute is tackling this issue very effectively.

Government has already accepted the necessity for more audit

of bank branches.

Management,Directors and Governance Members are not

knowing the value of audit.Hence the status quo was not

maintained.

ICAI should educate the various stakeholders of our services

at all levels regarding,audit, accounting standards,audit

standards etc, immediately at various places to

remove the hostuilty towards audit and audit fees.

The example of some of the foreign institutes in

this regard can be followed with awareness

programmes for stakeholders and necessary

inputs for them at CA Institute website for

various stakeholders.
